Bergamot Wax is a richly aromatic botanical wax derived from bergamot, Citrus aurantium bergamia, prized for its sophisticated combination of bright citrus, fresh green peel, delicate floral nuances and soft bitter undertones.
Unlike Bergamot Essential Oil, which is highly volatile and functions primarily as a top note, Bergamot Wax contains heavier, less volatile botanical constituents that give it a softer, warmer and more persistent citrus character. This makes it particularly valuable in solid perfumes, beard balms, hair waxes, pomades, body balms and other anhydrous formulations where both fragrance and structure are desired.
The aroma retains the recognizable elegance of bergamot while developing a deeper, more rounded botanical profile that integrates beautifully with woods, resins, florals, herbs and other citrus materials.
Bergamot is widely used in fine fragrance, especially in cologne, fougère, chypre and modern masculine compositions

Formulation Notes
Add Bergamot Wax to the heated oil/wax phase.

Avoid unnecessarily long exposure to high temperatures, as excessive heat can diminish aromatic character.
For solid products, evaluate its effect on:
hardness
glide
melting point
fragrance intensity
crystallization
final texture
Always conduct a small pilot batch before commercial production.
