Originally from the Rocky Mountain area of America. It is mostly known as Idaho Blue Spruce, although it grows in the mountainous areas of Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. Its leaves, seen up close, are waxy green, which when seen from afar give a bluish-gray hue. The Blue Spruce is a very long-lived tree that can live up to 800 years.

This is an oil with a lot of personality, elegant, exquisite, without being overwhelming, which provides a unique aroma to perfumery, especially in men's perfumes.
Blue Spruce has significantly more limonene and alpha-pinene than other coniferous essential oils. It should be mixed in moderation, since it can take over the composition of a perfume if used in overdose.

Like most Spruce oils it is comforting, relaxing and emotionally balancing.

Due to its properties, it is very suitable for use in creams, ointments and lotions to relieve tense and stressed muscles.
Very suitable for use in saunas, the steam room and as an additive to baths or massage oils.
It has antibacterial properties, which makes it useful for cleaning cuts and wounds.

Not for use during pregnancy, with the elderly, infants, or if epileptic. Possible skin irritant in some individuals; dilute well.
