Anise Myrtle Essential Oil is a rare and highly aromatic extract obtained from the leaves of the native to subtropical rainforests of eastern Australia, Syzygium anisatum. Renowned for its exceptionally high anethole content (exceeding 90%), it offers a sweet, warm, licorice-like fragrance that is richer and more intense than traditional anise or fennel oils.

Its unique aromatic profile makes it a valuable ingredient in perfumery, natural flavors, aromatherapy, and premium skincare formulations.

Aroma

Sweet, warm, licorice, and slightly spicy, with a long-lasting aromatic base note.

Aromatherapy & Cosmetic Properties:

-Aromatherapy: Uplifting, comforting, reduces tension and mental fatigue.

-Perfumery: Excellent natural substitute for star anise and fennel, used in oriental, gourmand, and spicy compositions.

-Cosmetics & Personal Care: Adds a natural sweet-spicy fragrance to creams, serums, soaps, and oral care products.

-Traditional Uses: Indigenous Australians valued the leaves as a tea.

Safety & Usage:

Due to its high anethole content, it should be used in low dilutions in topical and perfumery applications.
