The Silver Fir is an evergreen native to the high altitude forests of northern Europe. There it is widely used as a Christmas tree. The Abies genus is the largest tree. The needles are silvery white, which gives it its name. It is a tree that lives more than 600 years and is capable of surviving extreme temperatures and lack of solar radiation.
In aromatherapy it is widely used to cleanse negative energies, shamans used it to eliminate heavy energies in people. It has calming properties in flu processes, lung and bronchial diseases.
In perfumery it is used as a base note, especially in men's perfumery, it is capable of anchoring fleeting notes.
Not for use during pregnancy, with the elderly, infants, or if epileptic. Possible skin irritant in some individuals; dilute well.
