I would describe it as a creamy, sweet exotic floral. I have another Gardenia Enfleurage oil that is uniquely fruity - I appreciate this one a bit more for primary floral accords.

Our Tiare Enfleurage Oil is crafted using the traditional art of enfleurage to preserve the breathtaking fragrance of the legendary Tahitian Tiare flower (Gardenia tahitensis). Unlike steam distillation, enfleurage gently captures the complete aromatic profile of this delicate blossom, resulting in a rich, creamy, exotic floral oil that faithfully reflects the scent of freshly opened flowers. Enfleurage is one of the few extraction methods capable of preserving the true fragrance of flowers such as gardenia, whose aroma is difficult to obtain by conventional methods.
Highly prized by artisan perfumers, botanical formulators, and incense makers, this luxurious enfleurage oil offers exceptional depth and elegance. Its velvety white floral character blends beautifully with jasmine, tuberose, sandalwood, vanilla, ylang ylang, neroli, rose, champaca, and precious resins.
Ideal for niche perfumery, botanical skincare, anointing oils, meditation blends, and handcrafted incense.
Although both are made using the beautiful flowers of Gardenia tahitensis (Tiare), they are produced using different methods and serve different purposes.
Monoi de Tahiti is created by macerating fresh Tiare flowers in refined coconut oil for several days. This traditional Polynesian process produces a nourishing skin and hair oil with a delicate floral aroma.
Tiare Enfleurage Oil is produced using the ancient art of enfleurage, a slow extraction process designed specifically to capture the flower's true aromatic essence. The result is a richer, deeper, and more faithful floral fragrance, making it especially prized for fine natural perfumery and luxury botanical formulations.
