Tagete essential oil has a powerful antispasmodic and expectorant action, also antiviral, antifungal and antibacterial. Relieves stomach disorders such as spasms, cramps and intestinal gas, heartburn, nausea and aerophagia. It is diuretic and enables the elimination of toxins. From a dermatological point of view, it can alleviate skin conditions such as acne, boils and psoriasis. Tagete essential oil is an excellent repellent against insects.
Tagete essential oil is photosensitizing, it is necessary to be cautious in its external use. It must be used in a very weak solution (0.5%) in vegetable oil. Never ingest it or apply it pure on the skin.
