Davana is a herb from the Artemisia family, originally from India. Once steam distilled, it has a sweet smell similar to that of tea, reminiscent of dried fruits. Widely used in perfumery because it gives a fruity note, making perfume compositions unique.
This is a CO2 extraction from Davana, where mainly flowers and leaves were used. With high levels of Davanone, which can be noticed in the aroma that is extremely tenacious and intense.
Davana has been used for centuries in traditional Ayurveda medicine for its multiple properties to improve mood, restore good humor, emotional balance and relaxation, and for its disinfectant and soothing properties on the skin. It is also considered for its aphrodisiac properties.
Davana is a unique oil to use in perfumery, since the aroma changes from person to person, according to the chemistry of each individual's skin, making the Davana perfume unique.
