Green Myrtle comes from a bush native to the Mediterranean region. It has a rich content of myrtenyl acetate. It is a rare and difficult to find oil, but very interesting for its uses in aromatherapy and skin care.

Properties:
It is useful for balancing excess sebum, which makes it very useful to add to hair masks for oily hair and dandruff, or to use in serums for the care of skin with acne or very oily, since it also has astringent properties. . It can also be used on mature and sensitive skin, as long as it is also oily skin. Do not use on dry or peeling skin.

Antiseptic, respiratory and expectorant: Very useful for relieving respiratory disorders, cleaning contaminated environments, especially where there have been patients with respiratory disorders.
To clean environments, it is recommended to add 1 or 2 drops to the diffuser, do not add more, since it is a very strong oil.

Venotonic and lymphatic: Venotonics are substances that help reduce vascular fragility and permeability, making it very useful in creams for tired legs, with edema and venous insufficiency. It makes an ideal synergy with Spanish Cypress Wood Oil, if you want to add it to creams for tired legs. Very useful to add to lymphatic massage oils.

Deodorant: In addition to the antiseptic properties, it has deodorant properties, very useful for creating natural deodorant formulas or for foot care.

Balancing: Myrtenyl acetate has a balancing effect on the nervous system, providing calm and helping to neutralize sudden mood swings and anxiety disorders.
