Deg & Bhapka Method: It is an artisanal distillation technique in copper, which is done over low heat, and usually takes between 30 and 45 days. It is used for delicate flowers and to make Attars in the northern area of India.
Deg: boiler where flowers are heated with water.
Bhapka: Collection container where steam impregnated with aromatic oil is condensed. This method preserves the most spiritual and authentic essence of the flower, with nuances that other modern techniques can lose.
