Guggul Myrrh, originally from Asia, has been widely used since ancient times for its multiple healing properties for diabetes, obesity, the improvement of slow metabolic functioning and thyroid conditions.

Numerous studies have been conducted on its effectiveness and it has been found to be very effective in thyroid conditions, such as subclinical hypothyroidism, Hashimoto and Wilson temperature syndrome, hypercholesterolemia, atherosclerosis, and various inflammatory conditions such as arthritis.

Guggal Myrrh oleoresin contains a ketosteroid that increases iodine absorption and improves the enzymatic activity of thyroid peroxidase. It also contains guggulsterones, a group of sterols that act on bile acid receptors in the liver and helps promote lipid metabolism.

Myrrh is a fixative in perfumery, it has the ability to trap the most volatile molecules and anchor the middle notes. It is perfect for fixing ethereal floral aromas and makes a perfect synergy with most citrus fruits. It gives life and body to a perfume and amplifies the aromas, making them dry down in a range of tones that can be smelled as the hours go by.
