Coming from Asia, Fokienia contains a single living species, and is located between Calocedrus and Chamaecyparis. Fokienia is an evergreen with a wood that has a very unique, creamy, woody aroma reminiscent of Opoponax and Undertone of Rosewood. It resembles sandalwood or amyris in its consistency, and can also be used as a fixative.
