Note: Base note. Excellent fixative.
Odor: Rich, sweet caramel, vanilla creamy, exotic, very strong, fixative, powdery, herbal.
Appearance: Brown. Viscous.
Country of Origin: Brazil.
Blends Well With: Amber Oil – Fossilized, Ambrette, Bergamot and other Citrus oils, Boronia, Butter CO2, Carnation, Cinnamon, Citronella, Clary Sage, Clove, Coconut, Hay, Helichrysum, Jasmine, Lavandin, Lavender, Linden Blossom, Liquidambar ( Styrax) Oleoresin, Neroli, Oakmoss, Orange Blossom, Orris, Osmanthus, Patchouli, Rose, Sandalwood, Tobacco, Tuberose, Vanilla, Vetiver, Ylang Ylang.

It is Tonka Bean Absolute, Ideal for use as a fixative in perfumery, luxury soaps and candles, deodorant, odor fixer or aromatherapy. It retains all its instant properties, since no heat has been used, nor aggressive solvents that could denature the coumarin or the rest of the components.

IFRA has strict regulations on the use of coumarin, the main compound in Tonka Beans. For more details, see the attached PDF.
