This is an artisanal extraction of white lilacs, with an intense and soft lilac aroma at the same time. Made from white lilac enfleurage, made in two lilac flowering seasons, for a greater aroma load, later the essential oil in the enfleurage was extracted with organic alcohol.
Lilac is one of the most precious and rarest oils in the world and is revered for its immensely sweet and divine aroma.
Lilac oil is rich in polyphenols: quercetin 3-glucoside, quercetin 3-rutinoside and acteoside. Recent studies on Syringia vulgaris have found that they significantly reduce blood flow which could be useful in vascular disorders, inflammation of blood vessels and platelet aggregation (See Pud Med). In addition, research was carried out on the antioxidant properties of Syringin, a phenylpropanoid with great cytotoxic potential (a substance with a toxic effect on a certain cell, used on tumor cells). (For more information consult Pub Med: "Chemical Profile, Cytotoxic Activity and Oxidative Stress Reduction of Different Syringa vulgaris").
