Lilium candidum essential oil has been used extensively in medicine since ancient times to alleviate a variety of illnesses, including age-related illnesses, burns, ulcers, and coughs. It contains the kaempferol and humulene which have been shown to help with diabetes. Lilium Candidum has anti-yeast and antiviral properties against HSV-1 according to recent studies. Not for use during pregnancy, with the elderly, infants, or if epileptic. Possible skin irritant in some individuals; dilute well.
