Country of Origin: Indonesia
This is the variety of Sandalo Macgregorii, known as White Sandalo, native to the region of Indonesia, Brunei, Java and Papua. Although it comes from sandalwood, it does not smell the same as the Mysore sandalwood from India, since this is another variety of sandalwood.
This Sandalwood has a very woody, soft and tenacious aroma. Very suitable for making perfumes with a woody aroma and is a very good fixative. It has similar properties to Mysore Sandalwood, being very suitable for use in skin care and aromatherapy due to its relaxing qualities.
Not for use during pregnancy, with the elderly, infants, or if epileptic. Possible skin irritant in some individuals; dilute well.
