The most concentrated form and strong aroma of White Tea. Designed for perfumery, to give an exotic floral note. Very tenacious.

White tea is very rich in catechins, which gives it its antioxidant properties, which act against cell aging, improves the quality of the skin and prevents the formation of wrinkles in advance. Catechins or Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCG) are present in white, green and black tea and help in the functioning of the immune system, in allergic and inflammatory processes. In Aromatherapy it has a relaxing and calming power.

Recent studies on the essential oil of green tea encapsulated in chitosan nanoparticles discovered antineoplastic activity in the treated tumor cells. More information: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34280444/

Aromatic Profile

Exceptionally floral and tenacious, with soft sweetness, leafy herbs and a gentle woody background. Exotic, elegant and more concentrated than the aroma of brewed white tea.

Composition & Formulation

The client description discusses catechins and EGCG associated with tea, but no assay shows that these non-volatile tea constituents are present in this solvent-extracted absolute at a meaningful level.

  • Do not present catechins, EGCG or antioxidant activity as batch facts without analytical confirmation.
  • The cited green-tea nanoparticle study is not evidence for the safety or antitumour efficacy of this white-tea absolute.
  • Use current COA, residual-solvent, allergen and IFRA documentation to determine formulation limits.

Applications

  • Fine fragrance and natural perfumery
  • Floral, tea, green, woody and soft amber accords
  • Incense-inspired aromatic compositions
  • Luxury body or skincare fragrance only after category-specific safety review

Formulation Direction

Introduce gradually and evaluate after maturation; its floral tenacity can add lift and continuity without the sharpness of a conventional citrus top note.

Safety & Handling

  • For professional formulation and external use only; do not ingest.
  • Do not apply the undiluted absolute directly to skin.
  • Patch test the finished formulation.
  • Review residual solvents, allergens and applicable IFRA limits for the intended category.
  • Do not make immune, anti-inflammatory, anti-ageing, relaxing, anticancer or disease-treatment claims from unrelated tea studies.
  • Store tightly closed and protected from heat and light.
