Extraction Method: Steam Distilled.

Note: Middle note.
Odor: Herbaceous, fresh, citric and light camphoraceous. 
Appearance: Yellow. 
Country of Origin: Congo. 
 

Properties:

-Anti-inflammatory:
Widely used in traditional African medicine to soothe muscle and joint inflammation.

-Antipyretic and febrifuge:
Infusions and applications with the oil help reduce fever, hence its common name "fever grass."

-Antibacterial and antifungal:
Active against various skin and respiratory pathogens. Traditionally used for mild skin and respiratory infections.

-Antiparasitic and insect repellent:
Very effective as a natural mosquito repellent.

-Antispasmodic:
Can help relieve mild digestive cramps and spasms.

-Mild analgesic:
Used for headaches, neuralgia, and joint pain.

Aromatherapy Properties:

-Mental stimulant: Promotes concentration and mental clarity.

It works very well in combination with the following oils:

1) Citrus: They reinforce its freshness, clarity, and purifying effect:

- Sweet orange (Citrus sinensis)

4 drops Cymbopogon giganteus
