Extraction Method: Steam Distilled.
Parts Used: Flowers.
Note: Middle note.
Odor: Fresh green, herbaceous -floral and undertone mint. 
Appearance: Yellowish.
Country of Origin: United States.
Blends Well With: Basil, Bergamot, Bergamot Mint, Black Pepper, Cedarwood Atlas, Cinnamon Leaf or Bark, Eucalyptus citriodora (Lemon), Clary Sage, Elemi, Eucalyptus radiata, Frankincense Carterii, Geranium, Grapefruit Pink, Lavender, Lemon, May Chang (Litsea cubeba), Marjoram Sweet, Myrrh, Oregano, Peppermint, Scotch Pine, Ravensara, Tangerine, Tea Tree, Yuzu.

Tanacetum Balsamita, known since ancient times as Costum, was used since ancient Rome as a medicinal plant. It was long classified as Chrysanthemum balsamita and is currently known as Tanacetum Balsamita.

It has been used as a remedy for chronic pain and inflammation. Like rheumatism and migraine.

According to studies carried out with Tanacetum Balsamita, it was shown that it has antimicrobial activity with the following bacteria:
Bacillus subtilis, B. pumulis, Enterococcus faecalis, Staphylococcus aureus, S. epidermidis, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Klebsiella pneumoniae.
And antimicrobial with the following fungi: Candida albicans, Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Aspergillus niger.

-Beta-thujone (21.1%),
-1,8-cineole (4.3%)
-Alpha-thujone (3.5%)
-β-Bisabolene (1.9%)
