Steam-distilled from the ripe blue berry-like fruits of Juniperus horizontalis, a low-growing North American conifer adapted to cold, exposed and rocky environments.
The oil has a crisp green and coniferous opening, followed by sweet balsamic resin, gentle peppery nuances and a dry woody finish. It is suited to natural perfumery, aromatic blends and carefully diluted skin, body and scalp formulations.
