Centella Asiatica CO₂ Leaf & Root Wax is a highly specialized botanical wax obtained through supercritical CO₂ extraction of both the leaves and roots of Centella asiatica (Gotu Kola).
This method preserves the plant’s lipophilic bioactive fraction, concentrating valuable compounds such as triterpenoids (asiaticoside derivatives), phytosterols, and long-chain fatty components within a smooth, semi-solid wax matrix.
Unlike conventional extracts, this CO₂-derived wax offers a dual-phase botanical profile—combining the revitalizing properties of the aerial parts (leaves) with the deeper regenerative characteristics of the roots. It presents as a soft to medium-consistency wax with a greenish to beige tone and a subtle, earthy-herbal aroma.
Renowned for its role in advanced skincare, this wax delivers barrier repair support, skin conditioning, and a refined sensorial feel, making it an exceptional ingredient for high-performance dermo-cosmetic and luxury formulations.
