Aromatic Profile

Fresh evergreen foliage, green balsam and dry coniferous woods, with a clean terpenic lift. It adds forest-like freshness without losing the grounded resinous character of cypress.

Blends Well With

  • Bergamot, lemon, mandarin, orange and yuzu
  • Cedarwood, sandalwood, pine and juniper
  • Frankincense, benzoin, labdanum and cistus
  • Lavender, clary sage, rosemary, marjoram and geranium
  • Cardamom, patchouli, oakmoss and styrax

Chemistry

The seller identifies alpha-pinene, carene and limonene among the characteristic aromatic constituents. Their exact proportions, and the identity of individual carene isomers, are batch-dependent and should be checked against the current analytical certificate.

As a CO₂ extract, its composition should not be assumed to match a steam-distilled cypress essential oil.

Applications

  • Forest, fougère, woody and green perfumes
  • Incense and resinous aromatic blends
  • Properly diluted skincare and body formulations
  • Aromatherapy blends where a fresh evergreen character is desired

Evaluate the finished formula for aroma strength, skin compatibility and regulatory compliance before sale.

Safety

  • For external use and formulation use only; do not ingest.
  • Do not apply undiluted.
  • Patch test the finished formulation.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
  • Confirm use level, allergens and restrictions against the current COA, SDS and applicable fragrance standards.
