This is an artisan oil distilled from Douglas Fir needles, from the northern area of Arizona.
The Douglas fir is native to North America, resistant to various climates. It is one of the conifers most resistant to fire and rot, they reach large sizes.
It is one of the most used trees for Christmas, due to the softness of its needles, its incredible aroma and its longevity.
Its wood is also highly valued for its beauty, versatility and resistance to rot.
Its essential oil, extracted from its needles, has a refreshing, woody aroma that is known for its calming, relaxing and refreshing properties. Its respiratory tract decongestant properties stand out, very effective with colds, flu, sinusitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis and asthma relief.
It also has purifying and disinfecting properties for the urinary tract, helping with cystitis and urethritis, helping to increase the flow of urine and rebalancing the functioning of the kidneys.
The turpentine extracted from the resin is used on skin rashes, boils, inflammations of bones and joints. Although some people are allergic to fir tree resin.
Not for use during pregnancy, with the elderly, infants, or if epileptic. Possible skin irritant in some individuals; dilute well.
