The sweet orange tree (Citrus sinensis) is one of the most widely cultivated fruit trees in the world, cherished for its juicy fruits and sweet, citrusy aroma. Each orange contains numerous seeds, which are typically discarded during juice production. However, through cold pressing or supercritical CO₂ extraction, these seeds can be transformed into a golden oil rich in essential fatty acids, tocopherols, and plant sterols.
