Ungurahui (Oenocarpus bataua) oil is an Amazonian vegetable oil extracted primarily from the pulp of the fruit of the patawa palm, which is native to the Amazon basin. It is characterized by its highly unsaturated lipid profile—very similar to that of olive oil—which imparts a light texture, excellent absorption, and a high affinity for the skin and hair.
