Robinia pseudoacacia CO₂ Wax, also known as Black Locust or False Acacia Wax, is a rare and luxurious aromatic wax derived from the delicate blossoms of the Robinia pseudoacacia tree through supercritical CO₂ extraction. The Robinia pseudoacacia tree, native to North America but cultivated throughout Europe and the Mediterranean, produces clusters of white, fragrant flowers in late spring. These blossoms are rich in natural nectar and aromatic molecules that attract bees and perfumers alike.
Using supercritical CO₂ extraction, the fresh or gently dried flowers are processed at low temperatures and under high pressure with carbon dioxide.
