Wildcrafted Black Hemlock Essential Oil is steam distilled from the aromatic needles and tender twigs of Tsuga canadensis, an evergreen conifer native to the forests of eastern North America. Also known as Eastern Hemlock, this majestic tree produces a fresh, clean and beautifully layered essential oil with the unmistakable character of a cool woodland landscape.
The aroma opens with bright coniferous notes reminiscent of crushed evergreen needles, followed by soft resinous, woody and subtly citrus-like undertones. Compared with heavier pine or fir oils, Black Hemlock Essential Oil often feels lighter, smoother and more refined, making it especially useful in forest-inspired perfumes, aromatic wellness blends, soaps, candles and natural home-fragrance products.
