Wildcrafted Black Truffle Absolute is an exceptionally rare aromatic extract obtained from the fruiting bodies of Tuber aestivum, commonly known as the European Black Summer Truffle. Celebrated for its distinctive subterranean character, this absolute offers a complex aroma that is earthy, musky, savory and deeply forest-like.
Its scent opens with damp soil, woodland humus and fresh mushroom nuances, followed by subtle notes of leather, warm woods, minerals and animalic musk. Used in very small amounts, Black Truffle Absolute adds remarkable depth, realism and intrigue to sophisticated fragrance compositions.
This unusual botanical material is especially suited to experimental perfumery, forest-inspired fragrances, natural musk accords, leather compositions and dark gourmand creations. Because of its strength and unconventional aroma, it should be evaluated at low dilution before formulation.

Formulation Notes
White Copal Absolute is excellent for adding sacred resinous lift, incense depth, and spiritual warmth to aromatic formulations. It can be used as a bridge between citrus, woods, resins, florals, and balsamic notes.
Because of its natural resin content, it may appear thick, sticky, cloudy, or semi-solid at cooler temperatures. Warm gently in a water bath before use if needed. Pre-diluting the absolute can make it easier to dose accurately.
General Safety Information:

-Use in dilutions.
-Use Amber, Cobalt or Miron violet glass bottles to protect from light degradation.
