Ylang Ylang Extra Essential Oil is a luxurious and highly aromatic essential oil steam-distilled from the fresh flowers of Cananga odorata. Known as the most delicate and intensely floral fraction of ylang ylang distillation, the “Extra” grade is especially prized in fine perfumery for its rich, sweet, creamy, exotic, and sensual floral character.
Its aroma is lush and radiant, opening with sweet tropical flowers, creamy petals, soft fruitiness, gentle spice, and a warm balsamic-floral undertone. Compared with later distillation fractions, Ylang Ylang Extra is often more refined, more floral, and more elegant, making it ideal for luxury perfumes, floral accords, body oils, massage blends, solid perfumes, balms, and high-end aromatic skincare.
In natural perfumery, Ylang Ylang Extra brings a romantic, exotic, and deeply feminine floral note. It blends beautifully with jasmine, rose, neroli, sandalwood, vanilla, patchouli, labdanum, benzoin, citrus oils, and warm resinous materials.
